A Little Joy ...

Talk about a face that could melt the polar ice caps. Ladies and Gents, presenting my nephew (:P) Master Jack Bauer. Isn't he the cutest little button on the face of the planet?

Missing Puzzle

*This is the exact same post as in my blog*

About a week back, I was asked to share my personal testimony during Campus Action Ministry. At first it did not seem like any trouble, after all I have been a faithful Christian; this should come naturally. I was wrong. Here a few things I realized:

1. I had to really think hard into the history of my life to reconcile recall this moment

2. I have never really actually shared this testimony before

3. It is a great way 2nd Generation Christians to re-connect with their own Salvation encounter

4. Fellow peers will be able to relate more to your sharing compared to someone else of another age

This is how the testimony turned out:

The meaning of my name means God’s grace upon my life. Long before I accepted Christ, I was already a church goer, a regular one in fact. At that age, I never knew that salvation was personal and not by association. I don’t remember every single detail but I remember going to the altar before at least once for a salvation call, but without knowing what I was doing. What I meant about my name was that ever since young, God had already watched over me closely, despite me never acknowledging Him yet.

With Mom being a faithful church goer and also serving, I always assumed that salvation was a “package”. I think it was not till my first ISCA camp when this time, I consciously accepted the Lord as my personal savior. Of course I was not certain of every detail but certain enough to know that this was what I wanted, and I’ve yet to look back ever since.

Before each of us was born, God had already seen the start and end of our life. He knows you and me better than we’ll ever know ourselves.

The bible in Jeremiah says: “ Before we were formed in our mother’s womb, God already knew who we are” (Incomplete verse)

God because He loved ALL, He has destined for us a bright and wonderful future.

Whilst it is said that God has destined us for great things, when things do not turn out right, it is largely our own choices, and God does not force us to follow His way and will not.

I remember during that camp, the same day I had that encounter, what I had was a “burning bush” episode, my phone working perfectly fine, rang during the altar call but there was no sound, and it was not on silent mode. Shell shocked, I responded to that call to reconfirm my Salvation.

In Romans 10:10 it says “that when one in his/her heart believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth of confession comes Salvation”. Amen!

Of course, I did not pick up the phone and heard God speak through the phone. But what I’m trying to say is that when God wants your attention, He will alert you in the most bizarre possible way. It’s nice to know that someone so great will care to give attention to anyone and everyone.

And I leave you with this thought from 2 Corinthians 6:2, for He says:” In an opportune time I have heard you. And in the day of Salvation I have helped you. Behold now is the right time, behold now is the day of Salvation.”

Similarly, you can experience God’s undivided attention and love. All you have to do is say YES. You are no more than a step away, decision, and a choice away. God is a gentleman, He does not force and will not force.

----------------------------------------End of Testimony-------------------------------------

I know some of you will be thinking, let me get this area of my life right, and then I will come to God. I’m waiting for (a loved one’s name) to get saved then I’ll get to know the Lord.

Remember, Salvation is personal not by association. It is your personal conviction and not someone else’s. Jesus died on the cross for ALL, not for some.

Salvation call is like a bus, and you’re at the bus stop. If you don’t board the bus now, how long are you going to wait till the next bus comes? What if something happens to you and you miss it again? Think about it.

Well, I finally plonked down the moolah for my year-end escapade to the Land of Cows, Flat Lands and Prairies and Tornadoes. :) Funnily enough, when I inquired, the first travel agent quoted me RM6,971.00 and when I happened to be at another travel agent with my financial controller ... I inquired and they quoted me RM5,631.00.

M.I.A

Hello cousins...yeah it's been awfully quiet here. I myself have been guilty of not pop-ing by often enough..been busy.

Heard the news about Carol migrating...

Hope everyone is doing alright =)

Hey ...

Hey Carol ...

Yeah, I'd be one of those who is guilty of not updating here ...

Well, firstly ... i think the picture below says it.

I'm gonna miss you girl. Although we don't (in my opinion, at least) have THAT many things in common, we're still family and I will still miss your presence when you're in THAT (I'm so jealous right now) place. :) Now it just gives me more incentive to come and visit! :) So ... when you're in THAT place and you start working for a charitable organization that fills all the other spaces in your heart ... just remember us too ok, in your happiness that is. :) ha ha ...

Ken.
Hello cousins...

Everyone has been awfully quiet in here I see. Most, too busy with either their personal blogs, or simply just too busy (points to self). Nevertheless...

Since there's not been much activity in here, I have decided to post a big announcement. Something to make the silent ones stop being silent, I hope.

So, the news is that I'm 90% confirmed packing my bags and leaving this country for another. Some of you may already know, but I think some of you have no clue at all. So yea, I'm almost confirmed leaving for another place, better in my opinion. :)

Looking to move over early next year...

The Making Of...

Jerry and Serene's Pre-Wedding photos.

Happy Birthday ...

Ah Mah ... you would've been 81 today. I still think you're the prettiest grandma around.

o.O

I miss you. You always made my birthday a big deal. And I always returned the favor. :)

o.O

I still miss you. I unconsciously feel your wings on my arm when I do.

o.O

How's Heaven?

Overdue

EDIT!: Just to update the posts

So anyways, since there are not much updates, just think main main update this lah. Yesterday was my mother's birthday so we went to Pulau Carey to sightsee their supposedly famous wooden carving mask and seafood and we found was 15 km of this,

with palm oil trees littered left and right. Potong stim betul. At the end of the road at least we got a sight of the sea

There was a restaurant nearby but unfortunately we were a bit late and they were closing. :(

EDIT: since people said that should make the sky slightly darker, dengan penuh berdrama, here it is

Just a shot of my parents at the small little beach
